Make your desktop sexy

One of the things that attracted me to Linux was the amazing desktops and desktop effects I saw in screenshots and videos on the web. When I installed however, I was a little disappointed. Well, I’ve got my desktop sorted the way I want it now, with some fancy effects and everything! If you want to prettify your Ubuntu desktop, you could do far worse than to check out this tutorial on MakeTechEasier.com that’ll have your setup looking spiffy in seconds!

But just a quick comment, the guide recommends cairo-dock for the dock, but personally, I’ve found that Avant Window Navigator is a better choice, but don’t take my word on it, take a look at both and let me know how you get on!
